After 81 days, two saddlebags, one lid, one side cover, two exhaust heat
shields, both mufflers, fuel tank, windscreen, front spotlight and bar,
fork cover, rear frame, saddlebag support floorboards, brackets, three
crash bars, handlebars, clutch and brake lever, two grips, both mirrors,
primary cover, and a fuel gauge, it’s back in my garage.
I’m not 100% pleased with the service department of the dealership that did the repairs, but the work looks good.
Final estimate - $10.456
I got it back just in time for the winter riding season.
Rode it to work today.
The end.

Yikes, that was some off you had. But at what point does the ins co call it a total? Some % of book value I suppose?

Usually it’s when ever a pay out is cheaper than the repair.

That was the surprise part in the estimate for me.

Still have aches and pains. Have more xrays and an MRI scheduled for this week to see if we can figure out what’s still causing it.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully they can figure it out and fix it.
